frusterated beyond belief

hey guy, ive been working on this for almost 4 hours now n im not getting anywhere. today i went to the store and bought a shifter knob for my auto transmission. it looks like a regular manual knob. ive alreadt gotten my stock shifter off. now i cant figure out for the lifeof me how the hell to mount this new one on. ive tried to use the stock screw but it doesnt work with this knob. ive also tried to figure out what the hell the black cylinder things that came with it are. aall i know is none of them fit ove the entire shifter pole itself. ann or all help would be GREATLY appreciated. also could you kinda help me asap because im driving by pusigh the little stick in the middle with my thumb lol.

The parts that came with it sound like things for the reverse lock out. Are you sure this was made for a focus? I've been around for a while but I have never seen a shift knob for the ATX focus. Unless it was custom.

Don't sound like it's the right stuff. Sorry man... It would take some serious work to make it so you could push down instead of using the button on the side. Pictures would help out alot. Where did you buy it from?
