Does anyone know where you exactly put the main wire that goes to the coil pack do you take the top of the coil pack off and hook it in there.

Tach signal. All autometer tachs use a green wire for tach signal. Ford, autometer, ford racing, and most parts suppliers will tell you you need a tach driver. This is not so. Pin 48 in the ecu is a perfect clean tach signal. Cut the loop on the back of the tach that is indicated for a 2 pulse 4 cyl car, and run the green wire to your ecu (passenger kickplate) When you take the bolt out of the harness, you'll notice that pin 48 is empty. Strip about an inch of the wire back and shove it thru the hole til it pokes out the other side. Make sure it stays in, and put the harness back in. The pin in the ecu will go into the hole and squoosh (technical term) the wire in the hole and hold it in place. It's not a bad idea to tape the wire to some others so it can't be pulled out accidentally. Also make sure you don't leave so much sticking out the topside so that it touches any other pins when re-assembled.
