ok what you need to do is pull the handle down you will see the plastic cover, flip that up, you have to stick a flat small flat head screwdriver into the slot and then give it a half a twist in order to release the clips. it's a real PITA, but wait until you try to put them back on =\

what i ended up doing in the long run was to pull the edge of the head liner down and release the clip that way. it is ALLOT easier to put them back in that way then it is to completely remove them.

If they are broken, then yeah, sounds like the only way to get them back in would be to get new ones. Got pics of the damage?

yeah sometimes they seem to be in when there not.

i put a fold down tv in my roof and had to rlease them. i thought they were in tight i even tugged on them.

well heres the funny part i saw one of my old foci friends who fot rid of thier car and he was like i wanna chill and reminist of driving in a foci.well hes got a bike and does road sking when its raing,so where driving its wet but not raing and my interior lights come on and the door light comes on and hes sking out my back passanger door holding on to the oh sh&*^t grip well iscream yo get in the car ,as soon as he gets in it comes off in his hand and he looked like he was gonna cry and piss himself and pray to god all at the same time. so yeah be real careful when you think thier in right.

What does the space look like after removing the Jesus bars? Im thinking about removing mine and getting a black headliner, which would match the interior.
