You mean the headliner? If the dings are just right near the front, take off your sun visors and A/B pillars, then you should be able to tug the front of the headliner down enough to get at the roof, I think...

Be careful when you try to move it around, because if the Focus headliner is like most of the "cheapie" headliners, it's just cardboard-like material with a lining over it (the part you can see) and is easy to bend/damage.

if it's your Headliner your talking about, there's a tut on here.

since you just want to get to your front, do what lil PZEV said, take off your pillars, visors, and Dome light assembly. There are two screws underneath your domelight, take em out. Also, there's a metal former/frame thingie there two. Remember how it goes and now your front portion of your headliner is free. And yea, it's a cheapie headliner but i don't think you'll damage it all that much, unless of course your really tugging at it the way your not supposed to...

If this isn't what your talking bout, feel free to ignore this post!

The pillars are pretty simple. First you take off the B-pillar, if you look on it, about ear level if you were sitting in your seat, there's a plastic circle, pop it out, it's a little "plug/bolt". Then the B pillar comes out by pulling it inward toward the car center, it'll free the "back" end of the A pillar.

So then for the A-pillar you take hold of it at the part where it widens, near the dash, and pull it up and out toward the back of the car. I can't remember if the A pillar does hold down the headliner at all, but I think it might.
