Wood floor trunk.

Got some extra wood flooring from my work figured I'd throw it in the focus. Didn't like the look of the wood I had before . Not sure if I should get 2 more pieces and finish up the edges or just sand the right side locking lip off.

I like it. Does it vibrate or buzz with the speakers sitting on it? The floor of my hatchback doesn't actually fit correctly so I was thinking of cutting some nice but fairly thin plywood and then gluing some type of carpeting to it for a more solid fit. I never thought about using laminate on top of it.

I think it would look better if the whole bottom was trimmed out with the wood.

The woods, no my cup of tea. It'd make things roll a around. I use a civic rubber floor mat, which fits great.

Wood and newer cars don't go together too well and doesn't everything just slide around?

Stuff slides around big-time on wood. Not to mention the wood also increases noise abit cuz instead of absorbing sound like carpet does it reflects the sound.

Looks nice, cheap enough mod.

Function is in the eye of the user.
