arm rest delete

I don't like the arm rest in the center console of my zx5. Does anyone know a good looking way to delete this or replace it?

some models came without the armrest. in place of it there are cupholders. if you have a pull it yourself lot somewhere around you they can be had for 15-20 bucks. then its just disassemble and reassemble

All SVTs came without the armrest, not sure of other models. Browse the Marketplace here on the forum to see if there are any SVT center consoles for sale.

The only tricky part is getting the console up over the e-brake. Just pull the brake all the way up and you should be able to work the boot free over the top

What they said. Only way to delete armrest is to swap out center consoles for one without the armrest. Take you about 10-20 minutes to do.

My stupid armrest thingy is limp. haha. By that i mean; the plastic part that keeps is from falling Forward has chipped off, and now rotates past its 'normal' location. I been wanting to swap it out for a new one, but they're like $150+, and pick-your-part lots Always have them missing. Removing the damned thing completely, a la ZX3, would be Awesome. =]!

my arm rest is fine. the clip that keeps it closed sucks, but I just want something different in there all together.
