Question airbag removal q's

i know where everything is, the module and the 2 bags. (obviously) my questoin, is what all can i remove without ****ing up the car and making it go into limp mode or throw a cel or anything. i want to sell the airbags.

well i dunno how u can remove them without ****ing up your car, but just so you know. There is a deadly gas that comes up when air bag diployes, but when the airbags dipoley in a crash, the gas doesnt go out, but if u remove them urself, u could get more deadly gas

thanks for the heads up on the gas. i removed the ones from my mustang a few months ago before i sold it and all i go twas an airbag light. that is all i will get if i take them out right?

I saw something on the news the other day about airbags being an explosive & having to be set off by a bomb team when vehicles are wrecked. I found instructions on how to remove the passenger airbag from a Miata http://www.miata.net/garage/pass_airbag_rem.html. It might be useful.
