New......Nitrous Gauges at Harbor Freight.

Harbor Freight has been selling these gauges for several weeks. I was curious about the lighting...seven different colors at the push of a button. Aluminum bezel and case, and very nice looking. They had at least six different in stock, including this water temp gauge with an electric sender, and I saw a boost gauge, volt gauge, and a few others.

The lighting is fantastic.....the price $20 ea.

Dunno if I would trust any gauges that require a mechanical connection. Like an oil pressure, water temp, etc.

Should the gauge fail, you'd have a nasty problem.

All over saving $20-40 instead of buying Autometer or some other reputable brand.

Harbor Freight = everything made in CHINA by the lowest bidder.

Just my $.02

How is this being connected? It says all necessary hardware included - did it come with it's own sending unit?

^^^^^All the ones I saw were electrical, and came with sending units. The exception was the vacuum/boost gauge. I suspect all the gauges you see are "made in China".....get over it.

I only bought one for testing because I was curious....it's not installed. I bench-tested it only.

I've seen these at HF as well, cheesy but might do the job. Think about it, you can have a three gauge setup for $60, not bad!
