New red seat cover from the Zone.

Last year I installed a set of simulated leather seat covers from Advance. Well I just found a very similar set from Auto Zone.....Masque #66921. They also had this cover in black/gray, $30 ea.

In the first photo, the new cover is on the driver side, and the old cover on the passenger side. I definitely like the feel of this new material. The head rest cover fits better than the other one, and the installation is easier. I'm going to improve the straps somewhat, by adding four new straps to the bottom section. Anyway......I think I'll like these better. The passenger side goes on tomorrow if it's not too cold.

More red=faster car.

Wow, not bad looking at all!

How do they look from the outside with the doors closed? just curious, thinking it looks good with the red decal and calipers you have.

And yeah, looks like comfy material.

they do look like more comfortable material, but don't like how they look or the fact that they don't completely cover the back but hey, sacrifices must be made sometimes.

The Masque website shows a blue version plus several other color combos. There are several matching accessories to go with the various covers, but I only saw the two seat covers at Auto Zone. Makes a nice-looking package.....

When I get further along with this project, I'll take more photos. The cover needs to stretch out slightly before I do any more adjustments.

Not a fan of how they don't go fully around the back. Looks cheap to me. But hey, if it's comfort you're going for, I'm sure they do the job great!

Actually finding a slip-on cover like this, that really fits, is not easy. This one has Ford Focus on the package.

About that rear area.....this cover has three adjustments on the rear. The wrap-around rear with a Velcro connection, and slits up the sides, also adjustable with Velcro. By not completely covering the back, I now have regained the use of the storage flap on the rear of the passenger seat (was completely covered by the previous set of covers.

Anyway....without seeing a photo of the back, you would never know that these are just slip-ons.

Here's the link to my old set of covers. Nothing wrong with them at all. I just like these new ones better.
