remmoving door panel pieces?

i want to get the speaker covers off to paint them black and the pocket on the doors too can anyone help me out on how to get them off

I'm not sure if they are removeable. I've got some panels at home that I can check this evening to make sure, but if I remember right, the door pockets and the speaker grills are glued to the door panel. I don't believe they could be removed without a good bit of trouble. I'll look tonight, but if someone knows for sure, they can chime in.

yeah, I took a look at this while fixing some broken mounting tabs on my panels. You're not getting them off without destroying the rest of the panel. You're better off just masking them off really good and painting them in place.

ok so what do you guys recommend taking the whole door panel off because i am assuming thats somewhat of a bitch

Yeah, it is.
You have to take off the (on the drivers side) power mirror control, then the cap of the door handle, undo a screw in the lock area, undo the wiring to the lock/window controls, then undo screws all around the panel. Then you have to get all of the spring clips undone (and be careful, they're quite sharp).
All in all, it takes some time, but it can be done.

i dont know i got mine off in 10 min. takes longer to unscrew all the tiny screws then anything...

you can see the alignment clips in that picture kind of... not to hard though...

do you have power or manual windows?
