Assuming that you have a Zetec, your cluster has 3 #194 bulbs. You will have to remove the bezel around the cluster, pull the cluster out and access the bulbs from the back of the cluster.

So are the bulbs green in our cluster or is the gauged green? because having some blue lights would be awesome.... or red since my car is red.

Gauge is green. You have to pull apart the cluster and file down the back to make it clear. Then put in color gauges.

so if i would just file it down so it was clear.. then the back lighting of the numbers would be white instead of green? and can I not get colored bulbs to replace?

Yea I messed up. Ment to say colored bulbs. But you have to get one with a certain top so that the light disperses well.

Just be aware that the "white" light that will pass through them will only be as white as the bulbs can produce. It will look somewhat yellowish, unless you change to white LED bulbs.

Just my two cents.
