I just bought a used 2005 focus zx4 sedan and im wondering, what is that space next to the hand brake, on the driver side for? It looks like a pen or pencil holder. Please help get me past the ignorance.

I keep a pen in it for marking down my mileage on gas receipts. I've not found a tire gauge I could put in there, but that IS a good idea... then I'd probably check my pressures more often!

I had a pen in there until somebody stole it LOL. That's a good idea about putting the tire gauge in there but seeing as I already have the caps that read ur pressure for u I prolly wouldn't do that
