Over head lamp keeps burning out

Ya the main bulb in the center over head keeps burning out...soltuions?

Did you check the fuse, ground wire from light? also make sure wires aren't touching somewhere.......only thoughts as of right now, good luck hope you find a solution!

Tap on the housing.....if you see any flickering, you've got a poor connection that needs to be fixed.

Also check the running voltage of the alternator......it should be around 14V. High voltage from a bad alternator blows bulbs all the time.

I wired in a diode. it seems that the relay that turns it on when the door opens is not turning off all the way...cause I see a slight glimmer when the light should be off...anyone know where the relay is located.

I get the slight glow all the time from my light ( LED ). I read something about the dimmer still supplying a little power.
