Talking RS gauge cluster clock fitment on a 05 duratec

I found an old post when searching about the possibility of changing the gauge cluster in my 05 focus on another foci site.

The question I have is that is it possible to fit the euro RS gauge cluster into an 05 model or is that just impossible?

In that thread he just swapped the mobo on the back of the cluster and it was all good. i would of course have it recalibrated so that the mileage is ok. does anyone think that this is possible with an 05?
