Does anyone know what car, or have one that I can mod to my 01?

Do you want to change your ignition ring sound for the sound of another car?

Hmm... I asked Tezza if they had these and he said no, but I never asked FORDSVTPARTS. I'll have to bring that up.

I could see making one being quite easy really. Cut out a piece of plexi glass in the size ring you want and score it for the light to refract and hook up an LED to it. I just wouldn't want to go digging around the column though.

I'm going to do something similar for something else but will have to wait till I do it to show....haha.

I had one on my old '92 Camry. There's gotta be a billion of those cars floating around the junkyards by now.

If you could find something like this that is the right size it could easily be done

http://cgi.ebay.ca/2x-Car-8cm-CCFL-H...742.m153.l1262

I know those are to big but i think you could find one for a computer or some thing that may be the right diameter....

If you want to do something really funky what you could do is get a bunch of LED's wire them in parralell and drill small holes and make a ring around the igition...

if you wanted to go really nuts you could do lets say 2 rings of 6 offset them buy 90 degree and have two colors lets say red and green and wire them up so you have red when the engine is off and once its started up the reds go off and the greens come on...

All depends on how much time you wanna spend

You may just install a couple LEDs that are hidden near it in like white. Wire them to the door wires. So when it kicks open the LEDs light up. When it's not they go off. Even wiring to the dome light would work.
