mustang shift knob

hey guys
does anyone know if the shift knob from a mustang will work on my focus? i know that they screw on in a mustang and was hopein that the thread pattern would b the same.

the thread pattern is not the same.
sorry. you could possible recut the threads with a new die. i have a die that matches the mustangs' knob's threads. you may be able to cut the current threads off and recut them. Napa sells them for under $5

Search threads by mjmallon (or just PM him). He put a Mustang "Bullitt" knob in his Focus, and my impression was that it was a piece-o-cake.

accually the know CFM is selling on there site if from a mustang along with the newer foci. I have it on my 05 and it works. I believe others are using the ball billet knobs from the mustangs.
