Shift knob from CFM

hey how is this shift knob suppose to delete the reverse lock out? and is there any intruction for dumbies like me???

I just took mine off a few weeks ago. should have taken pics for a how-to. it really easy tho.
-remove your center console
-cut the two pieces of plastic that link to the lockout off where they connect to little knobs on the top half of the shifter.
-remove the four screws holding down a cap around the shifter
-take the shifter out and slide the lockout off
-put everything back

excuse the very technical terms. If you want i will snap some pics for ya.

So, its really that easy to take the lockout off???

Ive never considered just taking it off before. This seems every interesting. When I get off work, Im going to look into this some more.

front 2 cup holders and the rear cup holder.

If you have an armrest, you will need to take that off before the console will come out.

i have that shift knob and LOVE IT. Also yes the reverse lock out is extremely easy to take off.
