StreetGlow EL Wire

I just got a set of 5ft. StreetGlow Green EL Wire. From what I've read in different places, people use some type of adhesive to put it on in their cars. If anyone knows of an alternative please let me know, I don't like the idea of glue inside my car but if it's the only way then nothing else to do. Also, I plan to get it all over my interior, but for now I only have 2, so I plan to use them around my center console, anyone have any ideas, suggestions, or comments?

Adhesive is really the best way to go. However, consider using a silicone rubber compound to put it in. You know the sticky stuff on the back of those fake credit cards you get in the mail? Sticks really good, but if need be, it'll come off plastic just by peeling off, no residue left over. You can usually find it at any hardware store. I'm probably going the same route myself assuming I actually order EL wire, but then again, I'm kinda lazy.....
