A) As far as I know the passenger seat does not lower like the drivers seat. Unless you trim the brackets, but I help you with that.

B) I can not answer this question. Sorry.

I have no idea why they made the seats sit so friggin' high.

Unfortunately, there's not much you can do.
The seat tracks are already as flat as they can be.
Any other mod would require cutting the floorpan structure.

At the rear of the seat cushion base (passenger side seat),
there are two mounting tabs that could be modified.
They're on the cross bar that's just under the seatback.
If you flip the seat forward, you'll see what I mean.
Problem is, that only drops the rear portion of the seat base, and not the whole thing.
Though...every little bit would help.

BTW,
I moved this thread to "Interior Mods & Upgrades Chat"

I may just do that, it is really annoying to hear "Dude why is this seat so high" everytime someone gets in the car. I sat in it and just started laughing, it's crazy how much higher it is than the drivers seat.

Hmmm, any way of rigging a driver's seat mount to the passenger side, so you would have the lowering crank? I've never had the seats out so I'm not really sure what it looks like.

^^^SVT has electric height adjustment on drivers seat, and nothing on the passenger side.
It sits about 3/4 as high as if you ran the driver's seat all the way up.

So, the newer standard models have adjustable height (albeit manual) on both sides??
We're talking the seat bottoms, not the seat backs.
