Question Airbag Light - Temporary Fix?

Most of you know that I recently picked up these seats:
For Sale: ---> Recaro Seats - Full Set *SOLD*

The problem is, the passenger seat had the side airbag blow out.
It was fixed/stitched just like new, but there was no new airbag installed.
I've been talking to Mike at Hilbish Ford a few times about it, and I can get a new one from him for a pretty good price.

So, in the meantime before I can get the replacement and install it,
does anyone know of an easy way to defeat the light?
I saw this:
The Offical Airbag(Aftermarket Seats) Light Thread
^^^But I'm not sure where that "simulator" would even go?

I don't want to pull the bulb or just put a piece of tape over the indicator in the cluster.
I'd like to get the light turned off, while at the same time keeping the rest of the airbags working properly.
From what I understand, if you pull the bulb, you kill the whole system.
What are my options here?
Thanks!

^^^Easier said than done...
My instrument cluster cover (clear plastic piece) is glued on in place.
I looked at that already.

And again, I want to make sure the other airbags will still work.
There's plenty of good debate as to whether any of the airbags will deploy properly if that light is on.
I don't really want to take any chances.

I realize, I should probably just put my original seats (or just the passenger seat) back in till I pull off the cover and install a new airbag.
But...they're so nice. I don't want to take em back out now.

I put tape over mine easily. I took the cluster cover out and taped it from the back. I looked into the airbag cheater also. I think its just a resistor. I'm thinking it goes under the console, behind the shifter. I bought some resistors at Radio Shack but never got around to installation. I have the light because of an aftermarket wheel.

Ah ha!
I'll bet that's where the side airbag control module is.
I know the ABS module is under the console, but I didn't think about the airbag module.
Thanks! That's actually more of a help than you thought.

When I put a billet steering wheel in my show truck to keep the airbag light off i just used 2 resistors from radio shack and stuck em in the harness for that air bag, No more light. I'll try and look to see what size resistors I used.

I used 1ohm 10 watt resistors from Radio shack. You need 2 of them an solder them in series and put in the plug on the harness for the missing airbag. This will tell the comp. the airbag is there and everything is fine and no more light.

Thanks for the resistor rating.
Though, I still have no idea where in the harness to put the resistor.
If it needs to go where the airbag normally would be, I'd have to pull off the seat cover.
In that case, I'd just install the new airbag instead.

If it just goes under the console where the control module is, that should be easy enough.
Would you pull the connector for that particular seat, and put the resistor between that connector and the module?
