removing stock stereo without special tools?

hey everyone,
just wondering if it is possible to pull the stock deck out of the dash without buying the special little tools?

they are like 3-5 bucks at walmart..... way easier than trying 2 coat hangers ends

I used 4 jewelers/glasses screwdrivers and then while I had it out, unscrewed the tabs that are on the side there, so it just slides out. Probably worth it just to pick up the tools, but it's not impossible, just have to push the tabs towards the center of the stereo.

Pop the cover around the HU with the ac controls and let it hang from the ac wires, just gently pry it out. Then unbolt the Hu. 4 bolts, 7 mm, I think. Easy does it, at least on a stock ZX3
