Hi, are you just replacing the regulator with another manual window regulator or are you trying to install factory power windows?

For a conversion to power windows you're in for quite a job. I did power windows, door locks w/ keyless entry, and power mirrors, and overall spent around $1000, but I used all factory parts (most from junked vehicles, but a few I had to buy brand new) and I upgraded to the SVT mirrors at the same time.

However, for a straight replacement of the manual regulator, its quite easy:

1: for manual windows, you can use either a special tool to pop the window crank off, or just pull it out away from the door panel, and use a towel (pulled tight) or a screwdriver to pop the "C" clip off the connecting shaft.
2: remove the door panel using the directions here:
3: peel back the water sheild (this uses an extremely sticky glue, and is easily torn, so be careful, go slow, and set it someplace where it won't get blown around once its off, I used my trunk)
4: lower the window glass (use pliers to rotate the crank shaft) and loosen the two bolts that hold the regulator guides to the window glass
5: carefully remove the window glass by tilting the window forward, then pulling it up and out. set the glass someplace safe where it won't get damaged.
6: remove the bolts that hold the window regulator into the door chassis (for a frong window I think there are 7 bolts, one at each end of each regulator guide (2 guides) and three near the actual crank mechanism
7: remove the window regulator assembly from the door, noting which way the guides are angled for proper installation of the new regulator.
8: assembly is the reverse of removal!

hope this helps, cheers!
