quick easy mod!!! (pleased with it)

so i was about to have steeda billet a/c knobs ordered for me for my birthday but i figured i could find something better than that, that i wanted so i decided to fix it myself. Story: i bought this car from a dealer in november 2006 and it had a cold air intake and the rims on it. well the guy who had it before me painted the a/c knobs blue and a few other things and then painted them black again i guess when he traded it to the dealer...well the paint started chipping off and they were now blue and black...and UGLY..so i was gonna get billet knobs but i saw some Duplicolor dash and trim spray paint with texture in it at the auto zone so....this is what i did instead and the results in my opinion are magnificant. i want to paint the trim around the speedo too, the same color (but w/o texture) but i thought i was gonna break it taking it off. by the way i forgot to get sand paper...so i got innovative and used a nail file!!! ha

Not too shabby! If you come upon any other spray painted plastic, you can use gasoline to take it off as well...just an FYI.

What about the lights on the knobs? Do they have any or does it shine through anyway? Looks pretty good though. Did you use any clear? I would recommend the dupli-color wheel clear. Strong stuff.

And yeah, turpentine works really well too to remove paint. I mean REALLY well. Don't do it in an enclosed room.
