Switch to cluster with tach from no tach..

I'm new here, just bought a left over new 07 ZX5 SE manual 2.0L PZEV. I got a great deal on the car for just over $10k new-it only had 15 miles on the car, the only thing that really almost stopped me from buying it is it didn't have the SES or sport group cluster with the tach. I want to buy a new cluster since the car only has 400 miles on the car as of now, there are several listed.

1. Insturment cluster-Low line
2. Insturment cluster-high line
3. Insturment cluster-performance

My car does have the ABS safety package and it is a manual..which one should I get and will there be any difficulties installing this?

I did a search and found some info but I unfortunately still have some questions. It just amazed me Ford will sell a car with a manual but no tach

Any help greatly appreciated..

Dave

Dave, you are going to need a cluster from a Focus between 2005 and 2007. Also, the mileage stays with the cluster, so you are going to have to find one with VERY low miles like you have.

It would be easier to install a tach driver and a small little aftermarket tachometer on the side somewhere.

Good luck.

Since you have only 400 miles, I would run back to the stealership and get a new one with 0 miles.
It is very hard to find a cluster with low miles.

That's what I was thinking, I found one new on line for $208.00, I just don't know which one I need, the Hi-line or the performance one.
