My Steeda shifter arrived!

It's here, It's here! My Steeda shifter arrived. Looking forward to putting this puppy in. Removed the reverse lockout sleeve. I hope it's everything it's cracked up to be!

the dog bone and shifter are always a good combo, just like a CAI and exhaust

It's in! Easier than I thought it would be to install. Feels very nice, although not as short a throw as I thought it would be. Definately a lower knob position, I like the height. A little more solid feel while in gear. I think I'm going to like it.
My Steeda CAI is due in on Tuesday, so I guess I'll put a couple of hours aside next Sunday to install that and remove the stock air box and stuff.

Hey Faster, what is this dog bone you speak of? What does it do?

Klondike, the reverse lockout sleeve with the two little arms attached are needed on some of the Foci before 2005 ( I beleive ) I don't have a reverse lockout on my 2007 ZX3 so I just removed it. I suppose you could leave it on but I don't like having redundant or unnecessary things just hanging around.

it is the rear motor mount....this is the link
www.steedafocus.com/store/Engine-Steeda-Billet-Aluminum-Engine-Mounts/c26_80/p121/Steeda-Billet-Engine-Mount---Rear---All---'00-'04/product_info.html

sorry you'll have to copy and paste it.....the purpose for it is to stiffin up the stability of the motor so it doesnt move as much under acceleration...the only contrast to it is that if you replace all three, the ride is a little more rough than stock...but for racing and all they are great

I've heard that there is one STS out there that is the same as the FRPP, just with a different name. Is this that one or is that another one?
