Seat belt tensioner problem

So whe I get out of my car the seat belt doesn't retract very well at all, the problem has been getting worse in the last year or so, and it's really getting to me (closing the seat belt latch in the door a few time will do it to you). Has anyone else had this problem, and how do I fix it?

The B pillar trim piece is not installed correctly. Did you remove it at one point? Take it off and you will note a pin sticking out of it. This pins needs to be aligned in the retractor.

I have to drop 500 bucks to get the tensioners replaced (well, the entire seatbelt assembly for both driver and passenger) because appearantly the last owner was in an accident and when they're stressed it triggers the AIRBAG unit to throw diagnostic codes. It threw two, and they were for the tensioners. Ford only sells them as a complete assembly and they're like $180 for drivers and $130 for passenger, then I need to pay to have the airbag unit reset, which they charge more for because I'm replacing the tensioners myself. If I had the dealer do the whole thing it'd ring me for 700 bucks!
