Scangage - tach, temp, mpg on and on

My focus didn't come with a tach or anything much past idiot lights. Since I would have to install a tach driver in order to use my old tach, I went looking for something else.
I found the scangage at www.scangage.com and ordered one off of ebay last week. It should be arriving soon. Looks pretty useful. Will let me have four gages displayed at once - taking it's data from the ecm thru the obdII port.
Does anyone else have one and like it?

Why don't you just switch out for a stock gauge cluster with the tach? Not trying to be a butt here... but a flip of the ECU and cluster will get you the tach.

I was reading past threads on the cluster switch and am not sure I wanted to go that route with the different mileage and the possible difficulty of explaining a different odometer reading.
According to the site the scangageII will give me volts, mpg , engine temp along with rpm et... on and on. If they had it 8 years ago I would have bought it for my van, but I put regular gauges in that. ( I wish gas was cheaper and I could afford to drive the van more)
Searching around google it seems it is popular with the prius owners for maximizing mpg. I just hope it is not too ugly in the focus

hey look, the pic in that link is showing my MPG!!!!

Id say get it... probably cheaper and just as accurate as a tach cluster swap (hell, my speedo is 4 mph off on stock wheels and tires).

On my Focus, the digital tach accessed by getting into service mode is off. My speedo is pretty much dead on against GPS.
