Adding Power Locks and Windows from another Focus

My wife bought a 2006 ZX4s we traded in her 2004 Mazda 6 wagon she misses the power windws and locks. Has anyone installed the SE/SES door panels and power lock acuators and power window motors in a base model S. I have noticed that Ford has all of the wiring in place for most of its vehicels (at least the 2004 Heritage F150 and my 2006 F250 Crew cab super duty)

its not really worth doing it. the only real easy way to do it is to find the doors with them in there already.

You could get an aftermarket power lock and window kit for much cheaper and just buy the door panels with the switches in them and splice the aftermarket kit's wiring into them.

I also have an S with no power anything. I thought the same thing, but the wiring was not in place. So it would be a pretty involved install. I pretty much gave up on the idea. One thing I am still considering is an aftermarket kit, but using the OEM switches to keep it looking nice.

I've actually just finished wiring factory power window switches to my aftermarket power windows. The kit I got had everything pre-wired, you just need to do the install yourself.
