i personally am not a big fan of carbon fiber. a little bit is fine, but I think alot of people go over board with it.

if you want to get it, its your car, you can do that. it would be differnt

one thing you might want to consider... in a couple of the pics it seems a little see through. if you try to use it to cover something you dont want ppl to see and steal, well, they might see it anyway. also, notice they do not have any pics of it actutally installed so it might not be a great fit.

I thought I was seeing through it at first too, but if you look carefully, you can see that it is a reflection from above. I think it would compliment a CF dash kit to put a little in back too...

that was my only drawback was that you could see though it also but thanks for pointing out that it's a reflection. I would have never noticed that.

I would only get it if I had other carbon fiber pieces it by itself would look a little strange imo.

I think it's great, but some people just go overboard and make it look so blah! But, I bet if you kept it to a minumum it would look great....good luck...

CF and Epoxy

There may be an issue with the epoxy though. Most epoxies dont have UV protection. That means the parts will get an amber tint to them when exposed for prolonged periods of time. I am not saying this piece will amber, but just an issue you should consider before purchasing it.

You can simply coat it with some automotive clearcoat and that should resolve the issue. There are also different resins you can use with the CF fabric to get the UV protection and keep it from discoloring. I dont know what resin they use so you should definatly ask.
