Roof Rack Cross Bars 2005 ZXW

Hello!
I have a 2005 Ford Focus ZXW, it came with the roof rack side rails already installed but not the cross bars. I'm struggling to figure out what and where to purchase those cross bars? I really need them, as my roof is already fairly scratched from my kayak....Any suggestions? Please and thanks, this forum has saved me once already!

First question...your user name suggests you like ducks, and you ride a kayak....So one would believe you chase ducks on your kayak?

Second...I wouldn't be sure that Ford would sell them still...but you can make a WTB or visit a local salvage yard and steal ones from it.

^ you'll need 50" crossbars and their associated feet/locks.

Edit: I would also pick up a set of the Hull-a-port kayak carriers as well (or at least something similar).

Oh you bet I hunt ducks from my kayak haha!! And a LOT of fishing from it as well. The salvage yards around here didn't help unfortunately...might have to make a WTB then.

Okay, that's definitely helpful, but I'm not gonna buy Thules, I know they're amazing but just cannot afford that...Thanks!

As stated your best bet is a salvage yard. Our wagon was missing one cross bar and I found mine at the Pull & Pay.

The hell with the salvage yard. I have a 2006 ZXW and just installed these last week. They're perfect, I've hauled my kayak back and forth across the state with them since then and they work great at all speeds. Cost me just $36.

Wow, those are dope, and rather cheap!

I'm willing to bet that if you want the original-style cross bars, you could post in the want-to-buy section and someone would sell them to you for fairly cheap. I got mine from a you-pull-it yard for about $25. I've seen plenty of them in the past couple of years.
