Bottom feeders: 2002 ZTW rusty unibody

Hi folks. Love my ZTW. JUST did a bunch of work on the thing last June and now come to find out I have a hole in the unibody.

Will a unibody shop even work with me on this? On the one pic you can see the tread of my front left tire, and I think what is called the sub-frame. I believe there is also an engine mount above the hole area?

150k
Cleveland winters
Drives 11 miles per day
New timing belt,all brakes (calipers and rear pistons included),water pump, tune-up

I did this work myself, so there's no labor cost with what I have tied up in it. Just the cost of all hose new parts.

Any advice would be helpful. Thanks, friends.

Rust converter, then POR15 it and drive the car for as long as you can..

Unless you can cut and weld yourself, or have a buddy who owes you BIGTIME itll be expensive. Dont know if its the same for you, but in my area, body guys hate doing rust repair. Might as well get some estimates though. keep in mind youll either have to fabricate a patch or get a section cut out of a donor car

Thanks for your replies. I have some welding resources. I have to figure out if my local donor car facility "pull-a-part" will let me cut a section out of a unibody. I'd have to get some power into the junk yard. If I drill some tap holes, I would think I could cut out a needed section with a saws-all. Any thoughts on this?

Speaking from experience, don't waste any more resources on it. Drive it as is until something fails then dump. Rust of this extent not worth messing with. I'm from western PA and can't tell you how many cars I dealt with this on back in the day. A total waste of my time. Live and learn lol.

Still going strong!! The rust is much worse and the subframe is starting to pull away from the uni. I won't sell it though. Too dangerous. My dad has a ZTW that we' ll share so ill part out mine and save stuff for rainy days and breakdowns.
