Black Projector Pic Request

I am considering purchasing the below projectors, I have seen a ton of them installed with the little led eyebrows over the projectors and turn signals on the outside. I hate them lol. I am considering buying these because they have a cleaner look, but would like to see a pair or 2 installed before I grab a set. I am installing a European grille when the headlights arrive and would like to spend $150 max on a nice set of headlights.

QFT. The reason they are so cheap is because they are crap in terms of light quality. Get a pair of Mach's or Mach-a-like's.

If you're buying them for the aesthetics, then to each his own, but if your looking for a "lighting upgrade" save your money for a proper solution.

I want these are for aesthetic reasons, If these don't hold up I will go to the ST170 headlights in the future.

I have these. In all honesty, they arent horrid, they have lasted a year and a half now and only have a bit of peeling/fade.

The bad thing about them is that they have pretty crap output, and the reflectors do not have a standard cutoff, meaning that you cant put HIDs in them (well you can, but then you would blind oncoming drivers and people like me would hate you).

I retrofitted mine with some morimoto mini projectors from theretrofitsource. You can see my retrofit thread here:

Making the best headlights attempt #2

As for pics of them on the car, here are a few

Thanks man, they don't look bad. How have the halos held up over the year and a half?

drivers side went out a month back.. not sure if it's a wiring problem or bad leds, haven't had much time to investigate.

Did both halos or just one go out? I just ordered mine, can't wait for them to arrive!
