Blinker mod

Now I know there is a foglamp mod for them to turn on when the running lights are active, but I am looking for something in more detail like have them on with the running lights but also turn on and fully function when turn signals are activated. Does anyone have a link or how-to?

Ok i think i can help u here. Let me get this straight, u have fog lights that come on with ur running lights so when u turn on ur running lights or headlights they are always on, correct? Now u wanna make it to where they blink with ur blinker correct? Well thats easy, How exactly did u hook up the fogs to the running lights? I have this mod done on my car cause i have hids in them and i just spliced into the wires from the blinkers and now they come on everytime i turn the switch.

Well depending on what ur using as in if u using hids or regular bulbs then u could splice into power and ground. The way I have it which is what ur looking for is I have hids and the kit came with a relay and I spliced into the blinker using the middle wire since its constant power and grounded the other wire. Now if ur using regular bulbs the u could ground near by or use the ground in the blinker. If u want urs to blink then use the third wire on the bulbs. Black is ground, middle wire is constant and third wire is blinker. Understand?

Well I haven't looked at those but if its like the stock ones on mine then there should be 3 wires. Take a pic and let me see.

actually i just found an easier alternative route, since the side markers harness is right next to the fog lamp relay then I would just splice both wires so they would be on all the time and blink when blinker is active.

they are as bright as the running lights so in return they are useless and are used only for decorations now, I just wanted to get more use out of them besides for looks. It is not the bulbs that are dim, it was the fact I painted the inside of them and now they are not bright at all, no projection of any kind.

i got an even better one, to make it faster, switch the side marker and fog lamp harnesses.

Basically what I am doing is when the fog lamp relay switch is turned on, the side markers would be on instead of the fog lamps.

When I have my running lights turned on and/or when I use the blinker, the fog lamps will flash instead of the side markers.
