Problemed LED trim ring

I bought these Head light projectors, the ebay quality ones, and so far they have had no problems until now. The LED "Angel Eyes" are starting to go. The middle two where my headlights are almost always on, never turn on anymore. The outer two are fine except for the occasional flicker =/

I am wondering if you guys may know what may be going on because I thought that LED's had a 100,000 life span.

Also is there a way to fix it?

Thank you,

-Graham

could be the LEDs or could be the inverter for them if it has one.

A member named Scrammer did some kind of repair on his ebay LED halos; check the "how to" section or look him up.

The LED's DO have a long life span. But the life span is drastically cut short due to the heat of the headlights. Not to mention the quality of the LED and other factors.

It really depends on the style of headlights you have.

Here's a HOW-TO on changing the LED's on this style of headlight: "HOW TO" Ebay Halo Projector led replacement (56K WARNING)

Unfortunately on the updated ST170 style version, you'd need to bake the lights, take them apart and swap out LED's. Actually not as hard as it sounds. I believe they use 3mm LED's. I would recommend changing them with a 5mm 19k MCD LED for super neat awesome WTF brightness. I kind of wish I didn't paint over my angel eyes.
