trunk jammed shut....

hey guys..... i drive a 2000 SE, and when i bought it the trunk was jammed shut. ive tried almost everything to get it open. my question is, is there a pin or a latch that i can get to from the inside of the car to flip up the seats? its pissin me off.... i got a damn dehumidifier in the trunk, whenever i turn a corner it clunks around. well thanks

flip the rear bench up then fold the backrest down, from there use a flashlight to figure whats wrong with the lock mechanism, could just be a broken/unhooked cable

the backrest doesnt fold down... i need to know how to make it fold down. if i were inside the trunk i culd pull the T handle to make it flip down, but since my trunk is jammed shut my only other way to get at my trunk is thru the back seats.

sart undoing bolts on the seats, cause thats the only way I know of

been done already and still nothin..... im to the point where im gunna take it in and have it looked at. someone at autozone told me theres a pin in the seat that makes it collapse but im yet to find it.
