Does it go completely out or dim? One of the LEDs I've got installed in my door handle has gone out before but then came back after a while. Just recently all four of the ones in my door handle went out but I haven't checked them yet. Everybody says the LEDs provided with these lights are crap. Get on Oznium.com or Superbrightleds.com and get yourself some quality LEDs. Each ring uses two 3mm LEDs that are pretty easy to remove and solder in some new ones. Has anyone ever baked these headlights and opened them up? I'm wondering what the diameter is on the halo rings. I want to order CCFL replacements but I can't have my headlights out of commission while I'm waiting for the rings to ship.

The top ones are 194, and BA15 and 1156/1157 are the same thing.

As far as LED for hi beams, I'm gonna wait for LED technology to advance a little further. Right now, they just don't have the light throw that a bulb does on the road. I went to a local shop and compared a Hella baja light to a competitor's LED version and the Hella completely washed out the LED.

I'm ordering 8000k HID for lows and fogs and keeping Silverstars in the highs. I just recently put "eyelids" on the headlights which blocks the top 4 LEDs so I'm replacing them with blue LEDs to create a blue glow in headlight.

Has anybody cracked open one of these headlights? I want to order real CCFLs for the Halo and I need to know which diameter to order.

My lows will be 6000k and my fogs which are in are 6k as well.. My problem is I'm wiring the highs through the balast off the projector wire off the relay as per the manufacturer and the company I bought my Morimoto kit from.. The it might not be good running a 55w bulb powered thru a 35w system.. LEDs on the highs would merely accent the hids I've also gotten this same advice from the helpful guys at distantxtremes.com
