fog light mod QUESTION??

ok, so this foglight mod thats all over the place for independant fogs...couple queations...

1. Can you still drive w/ NO fogs, NO headlights

2. Can you drive with ONLY fogs

3. can you drive with LOW and HIGH beams W/ Fogs

if anyone could answer all three ?s that would be GREAT.

Also, one post i saw shows three(3) wires, another shows two(2). whats the difference/best

remembering that the fogs only come on with parking lights, the answer to all of your questions is "yes."

this is according to my own experience with the fog light mod. i did the one where the relay was taken out and replaced with wires connecting the two parallel sections.

hope this helps!

^^^^I did the mod this way as well.

1. Yes, you can drive with no fogs, no headlights

2. No. The parking lights will also be on (if you do the mod this way. You could wire in a seperate switch to turn the fogs on w/out the parking lights, as the factory switch will not allow this)

3. Yes, you can have low and fogs on or high and fogs on (but not low/high/fogs at the same time).

So you want the low beams, high beams and fogs on all at the same time? I know that if you pull the switch for the high beams out (but not far enough to get it to 'click') the high and lows are on. However, I don't know if this is good for it, as it's probably more power than was designed to run through it at one time....

On the HIDs, all three come on with the mod mentioned above. When you do the mod, there should only be one wire that connects two of the terminals in the fuse box.

^^^Right, but on the HID's the low beam is completely seperate from the high beam (right??), which is why they will all turn on.
