Job openings!!!!!!!!

Hey guys,
I know how hard it is coming off of Regular military or off of a deployment and trying to adjust and find a job/career, they used to call it going "green to corperate grey". Let's start a thread with all the job openings that we know of to help our fellow service members out during these rough times. I will start:

Customs and Border Protection is hiring in multiple locations in the United States. Go to USA jobs and apply there for the "Customs and Border Protection Officer" position. This position takes you to a journey men GS 12! Guys, dont sleep on this job, we are talking about full benefits, overtime worth double, 1.5Xs holidays, 25% sunday diff, 15-20% night diff, accumalative annual and sick days, 17 drill days a year paid if in reserves or NG, 20yr retirement, full law enforcement credentials, etc. This is not Border Patrol, very different and very fulfilling (especially doing "hard secondary work"). The test is not easy but that is the hardest part of getting the job. Make no mistake about it, this job is the best kept secret in the United States. Please hurry and apply as the positions do not stay open for long. Good Luck and God bless.
Juan

Air Marshall are also being hired. this is very seldom seen posted due to the pool of applicants already, but put your resume in anyways.
Just remember, military have preference points above civilians and your current amount of time in the military counts toward federal retirement

if any one has worked on aircrafts for over 6 years min term in the service they can pick up a job at alot of diffrent manufactures out their. some in texas i know of is Bell Helicopter, Lockeed Martin, Boeing. it is almost a guarantee you'll get the job as long as you have at least 6 years in working on what they make.

I wouldn't mind except I've got eight more years before I can drop my retirement packette for the Army.

8yrs? Dude get out now or soon, join NG or reserves and retire from them. If you wait till you retire from the military you will be too old to get into most (if not all) 20yr retirement federal jobs...This is what I would do, take all the tests for fed. law enforcement you could when you are "short" (they will give you the time off to do so), if you pass then get out, join the academy and start on retiring on 2 careers. If you fail the academy for whatever reason or you dont like it then quit and re-enlist and finish your active duty career....WIN! Trust me when I tell you it is worth it.
