Go jet skiing somewhere, go onto some short cruise (Navatek still in business? lol), atlantis submarines?, and try and get into the shark cage.

I remember Navatek, I always see their boat parked by young Brothers. I almost hurled on the Atlantis submarine. Didn't realize there would be wave movements UNDER the surface lol

I'm supposed to be heading up there that weekend also to celebrate my brother's girlfriend's birthday. I want to fly up when I turn 21 at the end of next month though.
Whens your birthday?

If it's still open, you gotta do Stairway to Heaven. Shit is awsome. It's on the windward side of of H3 near the Marine Base.

^^Sadly, it is not open, anymore. You can probably still get to it from a couple of spots, but don't get caught up there, pretty hefty fine from what I hear.

I would say go anywhere but O'ahu. Of course, I was born and raised ther, so I'm a bit biased.

One good way to let "reality" set in, so to speak, is to drive to Yokohama. Really, an incredibly beautiful place, and You get to see all the permanent encampments along most of the leeward shoreline. Makaha and Waianae have never been very nice, but now....damn.

Oh, and You have to make it out to Waimea Bay(go early or forget trying to get a parking spot), hopefully it'll be a big day with a good swell behind it.

Next time I come home, I'm going to the Big Island and Kaua'i.

Oh, here's another idea, go take a glider up out at Dillingham airfield. Amazing, and SOO quiet.
