You obviously can't read either. I said you WANT the R, you don't NEED it.

And never said you needed or wanted a house. I asked what dating someone had to do with getting a house.

Why rent again, you have nothing when the rent is over. Just like leasing a car. You have nothing when the lease is up and have to start over.

Yeah idk, just seems strange to me. I didn't even choose the cheapest shipping option. They offered a "free shipping" but it said it would take 7-10 days so I paid for standard shipping. I wonder what the process would've been if I chose the free route?

Why is everyone hating on achoo lol, if he wants a new car instead of buying a house in an area he might not even be in within the next few years what's the point?

No idea. What pissed me off was I waited at home all day after work, thinking it was gonna come. Called and asked wtf, then they told me the usps crap

Here's the best way to save a ton of interest. 15yr mortgage. Mine is 100 more a month but paid off half the time and 38000 less interest.

wanna know a better way? 30yr mortage, but calculate out the amount you'd pay per month to do a 15yr. and then pay that.
using Kyles 100k house with 20k down
30yr monthly payment is $533.62
15yr monthly payment is $736.80

difference of $203.18 per month. if you applied that extra $203.18 per month to the 30yr mortage it all goes towards paying off the principle. if you pay that $203.18 difference by having a 15yr mortage $10.15 a month is being wasted on interest.

over 15yrs that saves you an additional $1827 in interest. not to mention 30yr mortages typically have a lower overall interest rate as well so you're saving doubly.
actually its even a bit more than that because its a compound interest but I dont have time to calculate that out just now.

the need versus want shit i'm fine with.

tbh it's THIS i'm most worried about.

I think it'll be the next E30. I hope you prove me wrong.

plus there's turbo'ing the G and all the other car plans you want to do. but again i hope you prove me wrong.

Good in theory, but usually 15 year mortgages have at least a .5% lower interest rate. Sometimes more, to basically negate that difference. It's still good to do a 30 year fixed either way, and pay it off faster. That way if you get in a bind you can lower your payments.
