Get a girlfriend that likes to cook/clean, and can split rent. Move in with her.

Profit.

Well obviously that would be the ultimate plan

but a) need to find her first and b) don't want to move in within the first month.. that's a terrible idea

For some yes. I like owning my house. But would be nice with rent being thrown in, but then id have to deal with other people.

I can't afford a house I'd want to buy. Would either have to be on a lake, or on enough land I can dirt bike, mountain bike, etc. (And be in an area I like.)

Exactly.

Not sure why other people are suggesting places for me to move now instead. I WANT to refill my bank account and try and get a good start on a house down payment.

My parents don't want me in the house all that long anyway to regardless it's only temporary

my mom would let me live with her as long as i needed. but she knows i want to move out... now that i have the right job i'll be able to do that. but i'm not in a rush. might as well enjoy easy living in the basement for another semester... be able to save up for bags and sowo and my cali vacation (big present for the wifey this year because she's awesome) and then move out and be ballin'.

I want to look into a rent to own place where like 25% of my rent is actually going to a down payment or something so that after a year or so I can actually own the house.

3 Months is better than within the first month. Still a bit early but it seems to have worked for you which is good.
