Wait so you won't auto x cause it puts strain on the car and suspension. But you rip 80-90 downtown?

You realize you MIGHT go 50-60 tops depending on course at an auto x . So basically your straining the car more during your work commute

Go to the junkyard, get 4 2009 ford explorer 18x7.5 steelies or 4 17x7.5 chrysler 300c steelies.

take them to weldcraft, have them fill/re-drill and widen to the specs you need.

then take them outside to your car and say:

it works particulary well on the BMW because they can fit 9-10's in the front and 11-12's in the back and run low offset. cars like the new focus ST probably won't be able to achieve that same type of dish.

I'm not turning nearly as hard on the s-curves, auto-x has some pretty tight turns

So why do you have an STi then? I'll trade you straight up for my 2005 Focus ST. I haz sony premium sound, heated seats, moonroof, all the nice creature comforts, and you can easily take the S curves at 80-90 in it. You'll get better mpgs, and don't have to feel bad about letting that nice performance car go to waste.
