Indeed!

the sealed euro beam hella's I had on the mk2 where straight up the bee's knee's.

my low beams were dual filiment 55w low 100w high and then my high beams were just 100w high's

I had to run 4 relay's to make my wiring not catch on wire but GD I could see for years.....was hell on the alternator though.

also is why i sort of want an e30 or a mk2 again soley for the night driving capabilities!

I keep forgetting how TRBL your tool selection is lol!

I have one set of Torx bits and I asked for a 2nd set (the long ones) for christmas.

paired with my new impact and new jack I'll be getting when I bring the old one back for replacement we should be moving the racecar to GR lol

i totally agree..

this is why i like

1) old cars

and

2) diesels.

for example... 1997 Mercedes...

E300 engine bay (diesel, om606 for those keeping score at home)

1998 ML320 engine bay (gasser V6)

and just for super contrast... the 2012 c-class 2 door.

also nice klod!!! you were just running straight reflectors?

i figured i'd have to run relays but that shit don't scare me.

I like german cars because they build cars people actually want.......you know compact rwd cars that are sporty? and handle

if ford built something like that i'd be all over it.

also dont know what ya'll are talking bout with these engine plastics its not like they are hard to remove or anything....at least not after the first time.
