Nelson Ledges Fun Days?

Well with the FF/C6C track day being cancelled I figured I'd throw this out there to test the waters, anyone interested in going to Nelson Ledges for one of their fun days?

Looking at their schedule, they have a fun day scheduled for the following dates:

Friday, May 18, 2007
Friday, June 15, 2007
Friday, June 22, 2007
Friday, July 20, 2007
Friday, August 31, 2007
Friday, September 21, 2007
Friday, September 28, 2007
Friday, October 05, 2007
Friday, October 12, 2007
Friday, November 02, 2007
Saturday, November 03, 2007

I'd pretty much be up for any of the above dates. Anyone else?

I guess if I knew exactly what a fun day was, I might be up...is it just whoever wants to go at all can go?

Yeah, its really the only time the track is open to the general public (most of their other track days are SCCA related or are for a driving school of some kind, so unless you're running in a SCCA event or attending one of their schools you can't get in.) Its $120 per driver/$5 per spectator. Some of us local to the area (myself, lildisco, tiresmoker and Marlon/6waggin) went to one back in November of last year and it was a blast. We ran 30 minute sessions (although I guess if anyone shows up with an open-wheel car they prefer to run 15 minute sessions) with two classes, fast and slow, although they let you choose what class you want to run in. Its pretty much just go out on the track and drive, non-competitive. There were a couple of douches in a RSX and Integra the last time we went who should've been kicked off the track, they were passing in corners and one of them almost rear-ended me while trying to get around me in the back loop. But aside from them, everyone else there that day was well-behaved.

So how would one go about running in an SCCA event?
