Manual transmissions in wagons

Kind of curious if there was ever a manual option in any wagons? I've never seen one in person or in salvage yards.
If it was an option are there any production figures available? Had to be a pretty rare order if it was even available.
I personally prefer a stick, and find them regularly both for sale and salvaged. Most common seems to be the 3 door hatchbacks.I'd guess at least 90% of all body styles I run across overall are autos though. One of my neighbors I don't really know that well drives a SVT(not sure what year) and it's got the 6 speed manual.at least 3-4 other focus owners in my building alone of varied generation and all are autos outside of the SVT.
Anyone with info please chime in!

Yes, wagons have manual transmissions. It is rare. I own one, but it was ordered. There are a few FF's on here who have manual transmission wagons. In CA, you want to look for any 03 or above with the PZEV engine. That would be a 2.3L Duratec which gets the same fuel economy as my 2.0 Duratec with about 20 more hp and ft-lbs of torque.

I stumbled on my manual wagon. Guy couldn't sell it because of the manual actually and I got it for less than half the initial listing price. America doesn't like wagon and manual transmissions. The focus wagon sold pretty well because it was the only small car wagon at the time but you are still stuck trying to find a manual wagon. They are out there, just need to keep a look out on the popular used car websites. After 2007 ford stopped making the true wagon and now all they have is 5 door hatch backs. I prefer a flat floor on level with the rear bumper which is why I wanted a wagon but that is only available in SUVs these days.

Correction, they stopped offering them in the UNITED STATES.

Europe has had a Focus wagon every year since inception.

1999

2005

2009

2011

2014

All, IMO, much better looking than the US counterparts.

Yeah, they don't offer those in the U.S. because we can't shift with our left hand.

I rented a RHD with a Stick in Indonesia for a week. Funniest and most awkward thing I have ever done. A great accomplishment, to not wreck it.

'America doesn't like wagon and manual transmissions.'

Hit the nail on the head.

I had one in my Pinto wagon and those were rare back then too. When I later couldn't find parts for the German MTX I went ATX with it.

Europe has a much greater love affair with MTX in everyday to day use.............and wagons here stateside are anathema in car sales, they had to create the 'crossover' moniker just because idiot buyers here think the SW term was boring and not new and hep. Something your 'square' Mom drove but not you because you are so freaking cool. Utter silliness. If a salesperson, say station wagon where the sales manager hears you and you're probably fired.

X2 amc! I've been people *******s for years for hating on wagons but buying multiple SUV and vans. Hello...they are the same F-ing platform!

And it's really too much work for Americans to shift, their too busy doing everything but driving on their commute to work, how could you add more driving responsibilities? That might force them to actually pay attention. I like manuals because they pretty much don't break and if your starter dies, they can be push started.

Sorry, I forgot the cool kids in Europe get wagons. We've got super awesome expeditions tho; 400hp, 10,000 pound SUVs with 100 TVs that haul a family of 4 in super comfort...

Stick in a sedan wasn't very common either, wagon would have been even nicer to find.

TV for the kids is terrible IMHO in a car, they'll never learn how to travel & appreciate seeing things along the way.
