A/C questions

When I check the freon pressure what engine speed, idle or 2000 RPM or something else. Also what pressures should I bee looking for ? I added some U/V dye and the only think I have found is just a hint at the high pressure port, at least i think. The car has had a slow leak for a few years now and hoping it is not the evaporator under the dash.

Funny. It feels like my A/C isn't blowing very hard. I wonder if mine could have the same issue.

Car at warm idle, 25 to 50 psi swing low to high on lowside and 275-300 psi highside at 95+ degrees air temperature is about what I use. Numbers do not have to be exact, only close.

'... isn't blowing very hard...'

Has nothing to do with a/c charge, that's blower speed inside the car.

It blows hard. It is the temperature that is off. Once my gauge set comes in I will check it out.

here are the readings I got. From my research online it isn't looking too good, everything goes to possible bad compressor. The compressor does make noise and the condenser fans are running.

If that's with clutch engaged and turning right at the reading you're dead there.

yep clutch engages, fans spin and at highway speeds things get better. From what i have been finding these are all signs of a bad "recirc" valve in the compressor
