Help with HVAC problem

Hey everyone, this is my first post but I've been lurking for a while.

I have an issue with my 2006 Focus ZX4.

My heat/AC works fine temperature wise, but it only blows out of the defrost+floor setting.

The selector switch seems to operate normally and isn't stuck or appears to be loose, so I've sort of ruled that out as a culprit.

I'm thinking it could be either a vacuum leak somewhere or perhaps some sort of actuator issue.

Any advice or input would be greatly appreciated!

I had this happen on the car I'm working on. Ford uses a flimsy, girly piece of crap wire assembly that goes from your switch to the hvac box. You look at it the wrong way, and it breaks. The location is down by your gas pedal. The cable is likely broken. This is easy to check by watching the selector at the gas pedal while simultaneously rotating the selector. If it doesn't move, you know the cable is broken... It's minutes to unbolt and replace with a new one.
