$130 for the plug? Holy ripoff! And nothing online?

Cut your bad plug off and go junkyard hunting with that one for comparison. The Contour did have the Zetec but I'm not sure which years...also '99 ZX2 Escort, IIRC.

not that i can find im at the point now that ill take coil and plug off any zetec motor and splice it in. long as it has the 3 wires i should be good to go lol

got the plug and coil from a junkyard... the plug is fine but the coil has a cracked casing on it... and i cant get any fire out of it. is it dickered?

It rolls gets its fuel but no spark... Every thing works again. Ill see if its throwing a code tomorrow.

Did you fix the melted wiring harness from the exhaust yet? Maybe you have a break in a wire there. Could also be a bad computer like you were afraid of earlier. They're harder than most people think to fry, but once bad they can be hard to diagnose.
