2010 Focus SE with no brake lights

My focus suddenly does not have any brake lights. Both rear and high lights are out. All other lights work fine. I've replaced the stop switch, bulbs and check fuses 2 & 6. What could possibly be the problem???

I am completely stumped with this one.

Thanks.

Broken wire? Check continuity of the wires. Are you saying No lights at all, not even driving? Or just the brake.

I know you said you replaced the stop switch, I'm assuming you mean brake switch. Did you check the harness? The switch is less likely to die then a broken wire in the harness or somewhere along the line.

Yes, stop/brake switch. As for the harness, if you are asking if I have removed all the tape and physically checked the wires, no I have not done that and that appears to be a HUGE job! I did remove the trunk carpet and panels to check the condition of the wiring and all appears fine (although I have not removed the tape around the wires).
I also visually checked the wiring under the dash and again, visually it looks good.

Are there any other fuses or relays that may cause this to happen that I am missing here?

You say 'just' the brake lights; do you turn signals work as well?

Yes turn signals work fine. All lights work as they are suppose to except the 3 brake lights.

The brake light switch is actually a sensor it could be the plug to the BCM. My sister had the same problem; brake lights not working plus intermittent cruise control. I just globbed some dielectric on the plug and she hasn't had a problem since. Of course this vehicle wasn't a ford, but its worth a try.

I just recently had no brake lights with the V6 Focus. Check checked the fuses, the bulbs, the switch. Everything checked out. I found out that the brake switch as sticking once I gave it the 1/4 turn to seat the switch. I just gave it a turn the other direction to seat it and it worked. So I would see if the switch is is releasing when you press the pedal.
