Air conditioning fitments ??

basically i have a friend who does air conditioning for a living, he said he would recharge my air con for free BONUS, all he said is i have to get the fitting for him, new to air con systems any ideas where to start looking ?? i need one for my mk1 focus and one for my mk1 st24 more then likely they would be the same

Moved to "general tech chat" for a better fit.

Our cars use 'R-134" fittings, and cheap refill cans come with plastic quick connects/hoses/gauges.

Your friend should know what he needs, and what equipment of his he's trying to adapt to.

Hope he's just got different fittings for commercial size units that use R-134 (I'm assuming you use that for autos over there)

It'd be better if he could tell you what he needs, and the cost - that way you pay for the job by getting him the special connectors/hoses he doesn't have yet.
